Winter in Europe | Venice | Day 31

Our last full day in Venice was full of slightly less eating and drinking.

We started off with exploring the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. The building was stunning as well as wf

Lunch was the best cicchetti I had during our time in Venice, it was at Cantina Do Mori. There were lots of locals so you knew it was good.

We then jumped on a ferry and headed to Murano for a glass blowing conference demonstration. On our way to the island we went past Isola di San Michele, a whole island that’s a cemetery. It was a bit creepy but I think I’ll go back and visit it next time I’m in Venice. Murano was not creepy but beautiful, the islands focus is glass blowing and it shows they are artists. The demonstration was very interesting, the master was incredible. He made it look so easy. You almost forgot that he’s manipulating extremely hot glass.

To end the day we went to Bacaro Jazz, a bar that has a lot of character. We got there just in time for happy hour and a couple of bellini’s. And yes, the roof is covered in bras.
