Japan 2017 | Day 11 | Osaka

Today we arrived in Osaka, my first impression was that this city is a lot busier than Tokyo.

We went to the Umeda Sky Building and it was high, very high but worth it. We got an awesome 360 view of the city, it seems like it never ends.

It was the last night on the tour so we celebrated with dinner, dress ups and karaoke. It was a fun night and perfect way to end the tour.

We also walked through Dotonburi, it’s exactly what you think Japan is like – colourful, loud and a little crazy.

For lunch I tried omurice, a combination of fried rice and an omelette. It can come with various toppings however I chose Japanese soup with mushrooms and spinach. It was yum!

For dinner we went (dressed up and all) to an all you can eat and drink BBQ. We weren’t too successful with the BBQ but the udon and tempura was delicious!

For the first few nights in Osaka we are staying at Hotel Monterey Osaka. It’s close to the Osaka station so it’s a great central place to stay.
